maafaaDesigns was established in 2019 in India. The brand maintains smart, simple, stylish exuberance for footwear, clothing, and accessories made from the natural and sustainable elegance of HEMP For maafaaDesigns, #HealEarthMakePeace is our slogan and the company aims to do just that. Our founder choose HEMP after being a power house for two decades in the industry working with Linen,Leather and Silk fabrics, just to realise that the only sustainable and eco friendly fibre that was good for the planet was HEMP during his travels to Nepal in 2017.

Our HEMP is sourced in the Himalayan foothills, by harnessing the natural beauty and strength of hemp fibre to create products that enhance the lives of everyone part of our process. We work directly with our suppliers, farmers, factories to help them recover from the 2015 earthquake. We follow not only fair trade but 10% of our profits our shared with them. Our endeavours are designed to ensure sustainability of our products, being 100% bio-degradable and to strengthen and give resilience to our communities.

This is our twist on “KALPAVRUKSH” which is what HEMP is for us, that we are now giving you with harmony and love.
